How to Get Started

Submit Your Application

It's easy! There's no fee and it's entirely online. You can even save your progress and return later.

Request Transcripts

Request official transcripts from each high school or college you've attended be sent to the Admissions Office.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and apply for scholarships.

Acceptance & Registration

Once you are notified of your acceptance, you'll personally meet with your advisor to register for classes.

Welcome Cougars!

Funding Your Education

Understanding your finances and paying for college can be complex. Good news—our financial aid team is here to guide you, making the process simple and stress-free!

These scholarships, awarded through the Northeast Iowa Community College Foundation, only require a simple scholarship application. The Foundation raises money from many generous donors throughout the region in order to assist students in paying for educational expenses.

These opportunities include scholarships, grants and tuition-free degree programs exclusively available to Iowa residents.

Additional sources can include student employment (work study), veteran education and military tuition assistance benefits, federally funded programs, private scholarships and more!
