Stevens will attend the Albuquerque, N.M., conference from June 25 – 28.

As part of her professional development, Stevens is participating in the ASRT Student Leadership Development Program to learn more about the ASRT, attend educational sessions and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals from across the U.S. Stevens is the third Radiologic Technology student at the College to be selected by the Iowa Society of Radiologic Technologists to attend the ASRT national symposium in six years, and was chosen from numerous applications across the state.

“I’m really excited that I get to attend this conference! I believe this will help me understand my profession more and I'll be able to network with other imaging technologists and students to better myself,” Stevens said. “Once I graduate from Northeast Iowa Community College with my associate’s degree this July, I am continuing on to the University of Iowa for my Bachelor of Science and specializing in MRI.”

Lora Hannan, program director of the Radiologic Technology program at 网赌网站, praised the student for her commitment to academic and professional excellence.

“Sam was selected to represent the State of Iowa, and this is an incredible honor for a very deserving student. We look forward to hearing about her learning experiences at the ARST conference this summer,” Hannan expressed.ropad
