This year’s writing contest was open to students across the district. The contest is held in honor of 网赌网站 colleague and Writing Center instructor, Larry Kruse, who passed away in 2020. Larry assisted students with their writing in the Learning Centers in Peosta and the Dubuque Center. The annual writing contest gives students an opportunity to showcase their writing accomplishments!

Short nonfiction essays

1st place - Jeffrey Gladwin, Guttenberg, Iowa - “My Master and I”

2nd place - Brooklyn Holmstrom, Calmar, Iowa - “Each Role Matters”

Long nonfiction essays

2nd place - Summer Knight, Cresco, Iowa - “Lost and Found”
