Registrar

The Office of the Registrar supports students with all of their academic needs including; transcript requests, degree audits, evaluation of transfer courses and questions regarding curriculum.

Grades

网赌网站 uses the four point grading system. Letter grades are assigned to represent levels of accomplishment. Credit for graduation is granted for the following grades: A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, L, P, and T. In programs that have a minimum C- policy for all courses, credit for a D grade is not given. Instructors have the option of assigning plus/minus grades and will specify the grading standards used for each course. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required for graduation.

Grades will be available online at the end of each semester. Students can access grades at MyCampus. Grades will not be given out over the phone. Questions regarding specific grades should be directed to the course instructor.

Transcript Request

There is a $5.00 charge for each official transcript ordered. You can pay for your transcript order with any major credit or debit card. No transcripts will be issued until all financial aid and other obligations with the College have been met. Requests are processed by the National Student Clearinghouse.

REMINDER: Transcripts are not considered "OFFICIAL" unless you request that they are sent electronically or by mail directly to the institution requesting them.

If you need an UNOFFICIAL copy of your transcript, current students can log into their self service account and click on the Unofficial Transcript link under the Academics menu (Graduation Cap) on the left. Former students can email regcalm@nicc.edu to request an unofficial transcript.

Transfer Credit to Northeast Iowa Community College

The College accepts credit from other accredited colleges and universities when a minimum grade of C- has been earned. Courses which correspond to an equivalent course at 网赌网站 are transferred at face value and may be used to fulfill program requirements. Transcripts will be evaluated for the student's current academic program requirements. If a student changes his/her program, an evaluation will need to be completed for the new program. When a question exists as to the equivalency of a course, it is the student's responsibility to provide a course description, syllabus or guide.

Students who wish to transfer credit to the College need to provide the Admissions Office with an official transcript. In order for a transcript to be considered “official”, it must be received directly from the college or university electronically or by mail to the 网赌网站 Admissions Office. Courses completed more than five years ago may be transferred at the discretion of the academic dean or provost. There is no charge for credit granted through transfer. Grades in courses transferred to the College are not computed in your 网赌网站 GPA.

Dean's List

Students who have completed nine or more credit hours and achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or better in any semester are recognized by being named to the Dean's List. Learn more about the Dean's List.
