Start Here, One Step at a Time!
The steps below break down the enrollment process into simple, manageable steps to help you feel confident and prepared for the first day of class!
01. Admission
- Apply online in minutes! If you're exploring classes without pursuing a full degree, review information for non-degree seeking students.
- Request official transcript from your high school, high school equivalency program, or previous colleges. Transcripts can be emailed to admissions@nicc.edu or mailed to a campus location.
- We'll review your transcripts to ensure you're placed in the right classes. We will assess your reading, writing, and math skills using the ACCUPLACER®, ACT®, or ALEKS assessments.
02. Prepare for Registration
- Once you are accepted, you'll receive student account credentials. Use your account credentials to complete the digital Registration Prep Course. This course allows you to independently cover important topics to prepare for an upcoming advising appointment.
03. Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to determine your eligibility for federal and college-based aid. Seventy-nine percent of 网赌网站 students receive financial aid.
- Apply for scholarships to reduce your education costs.
04. Registration
- Schedule an individualized advising session with your advisor to discuss career goals, map your academic plan, complete registration, and choose your campus orientation date.
- Complete the digital Student Success Course.
05. Orientation
- Attend new student orientation to get your student ID, explore classrooms, connect with faculty and peers, and complete final enrollment steps!
