Each February the Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI) Foundation hostsmore than 250 Iowa community college agriculture/agribusiness students at the Iowa State Fairgrounds during Agribusiness Career Day.

Ian Brown, of Peterson, Minn., was one of 15 ag students to receive a scholarship at in Des Moines on Feb. 12. Sponsored by Twin State, Inc., Brown is a student at Northeast Iowa Community College’s Calmar campus.

Industry members of AAI have helped sponsor the scholarships since the event's inception in 2014. The AAI Foundation has raised $87,000 from 25 different companies since 2014 to provide these scholarships to Iowa community college ag students.
