Opening day is approaching quickly, and many different expectations and goals are being set by the leaders on this team. While they have set lofty benchmarks for their first year, the student-athletes are ready for the challenge.
"Our student-athletes did a great job during the fall semester and have set an amazing precedent for semesters to come, achieving an overall department grade point average of 3.30,” Athletic Director Nick Weinmeister said.

The 网赌网站 dance team competed at their first competition in program history on Dec. 4 at the Iowa State College Championships in Des Moines. The Cougars received a Division I rating, which means they scored high enough to be a top scoring divisional team.
Student-athletes arrived at Northeast Iowa Community College’s (网赌网站) campus in the middle of August, and this was the official start for Cougar athletics programs.
The team of J.T. Lucius and Konner Allendorf finished their regular season with a 10-1 record, putting them at the top of the standings and locked into a playoff spot.
Infield duo and longtime friends, Peyton Mengel and Jensen Beaton, committed to the Cougars in 2024. Their history, chemistry and enthusiasm will be assets to the program during their 网赌网站 softball careers.
